sugar

i think i am so stupid! i bought all this stuff from trader joe's this week. i bought some wheat bread or whatever, it has 4 grams of sugar. my whey protein contains 8 grams of sugar/serving. where did all this sugar come from???? should i just throw this stuff out or what? or am i making something out of nothing

    Sugar isn't always the white processed stuff. It could be lactose- milk sugar or fructose- fruit sugar.

      oh by the way never consume any product that says corn syrup or hight fructose corn syrup. They do the body no good. The problem is its in everything today Our bodies cant say we've had enough so you could drink a six pack of coke but if it was made with plain sugar you'd be ill before the first can.

    my thinking is that processed sugar is processed sugar--
    it simply doesn't help our bodies and
    it definitely doesn't belong in things like whole wheat bread.

    Its a bummer to have to be so cautious and check all the time though.
    I think you are right to be concerned!
